So now, onto my projects!!

This month, I had the Double Dip level-boy did I get A TON!
Check it out:

I was so excited by all the different collections in this kit. It was great! I crafted the whole day away, and time certainly got away from me, lol!

For my projects this month, I wanted to add a little more
"pizzaz", so I created 2 Fun Fold cards, and a Shaker card, along with a regular fold card!

Here they are!

Collection 1

Open

Closed for mailing :)

Collection 1 included six 6x6 sheets of Echo Park "Happy Summer" paper, and Brutus Monroe "Happy Summer" stamp, as well as the "Happy Summer" Ephemera (also from Echo Park) and the Kennedy Grace Sequins called "Happy Summer".

I used the included "Ballerina Pink" from the My Colors Cardstock company to make the base, and stamped the Brutus Monroe stamps all over it to make a pattern using Pixie ink. I used the "Happy Summer" paper and Ephemera from Echo Park to make the sentiment piece, which is what I made my sketch 1 from. And finally, I added the Kennedy Grace sequins to the front of the base.

This card is called a Pull Up Box card. You can find the tutorial on Split Coast Stampers.

Collection 2

Collection 2 included six 6x6 sheets of Bo Bunny "Petal Lane" paper, and My Favorite Things "Fresh Squeezed" stamp set,  as well as "Petal Lane" Ephemera and Clear Stickers also from Bo Bunny and Kennedy Grace Sequins called "Petal Lane".

I used more of the "Ballerina Pink" as well as the Bo Bunny paper to make this card. I used a regular scallop punch to make the bottom of the card with the sentiment. I stamped the sweet little girl onto the included White yardstick from the kit. I colored her in and made her a part of the card sketch 4.

Collection 3

Collection 3 included six 6x6 sheets of Carta Bella "Work Hard, Play Hard" paper, Small Stamps "Scooter" stamp set, as well as "Work Hard, Play Hard" Ephmera, "Gears" brads, and Kennedy Grace "Work & Play" sequins.

I used the "Lemon Lime" and "Deep Blue" cardstock from the My Colors Cardstock collection found in the kit to make the base of this card. I added the Carta Bella patterned paper and ephemera to make the rest of the card. I also added the gears and some sequins to the front. I used the Prima Metallic Watercolors that Teresa offers in her online store to do a watercolor wash background of the stamp.

This card is called a "Free Standing Pop Up card" and the tutorial can be found at Split Coast Stampers.

Collection 4

Collection 4 includes six 6x6 sheets of Carta Bella "Travel Stories" paper, Jillibean Soup "Fly Away" Stamp set, as well as "Go See Explore" Enamel Dots, "Ogee" Embossing Folder, and Kennedy Grace Sequins "Travel Stories".

For this card, I also used the optional add-on, JilliBean "Small Circle Set" dies to match the "Fly Away" set. I also decided to turn it into a Shaker Card! I used "Deep Blue" cardstock with the Ogee Embossing Folder to start the base of the card. I used the Fly Away stamp set and stamped the SENDING HUGS and the Clouds onto white cardstock that is included in the kit. I used the included GO SEE EXPLORE enamel dots on the front of the balloon that I made. The stripes of the balloon were also stamped from the JilliBean stamp set.

I truly hope you enjoyed my cards today!

  4. The hot air balloon card is just darling. The hot air balloon adds a sense of whimsy to the project. Change out the sentiment and I can definitely see this as a card for a young boy.
